Happy at home...

Not much new to report from this front. Miles returned home from Utah last night, and we are happy to have him home. The girls and I met up with Aunt Paddy at Mount Vernon on Saturday, and had a wonderful time...despite the HEAT! The highlight for the girls was a toss up between the pigs, the dress-up, and seeing "Nana's house"! Aunt Paddy showed us the house the Lemmon clan inhabited during Grandpa Lemmon's tour at the Pentagon...many years ago. On the way home, Maddie asked if we were going to see other "Nana" houses. She exclaimed, "That EXCITING!" Love our Maddie! Emma really enjoyed dressing up in the clothing at Mount Vernon, and pitched a bit of a fit when she was told she couldn't wear it home! We had a great time!

We love and miss you all!

Oh my gosh! (or as they may say in Utah, “Oh my heck!”) What an addition to your blog this post will be. Yes, post I must (in my best Yoda voice). So, Emma and Maddie… Daddy’s friend Michael is going to share a story about Daddy’s trip to Utah this past week. Around 5 years ago your Daddy made friends with myself and another great person named Chris. Well, it so happens that Chris and I are both living in Provo going to school at BYU at the same time!! So when Daddy came out to Utah this past week, Daddy met with myself and Chris to spend time reuniting and catching up from the years gone by. The three of us decided to go watch a movie – a total “guy’s” movie. Bourne Ultimatum. And what a great guy’s movie it was! Lots of action and car chases and so forth. Well, towards the end of the movie, the three of us were sitting near the isle on the left side of the theatre when an older man sitting next to me needed to get out of his seat and make his way to the bathroom! And as he scooted his way in front of me, he started shuffling past your Daddy when all of the sudden we heard...”Toot”. That’s right! The old man farted in your Daddy’s face! Isn’t that something! It was so loud and extremely embarrassing, especially for the old man. But your Daddy is a good sport. He just laughed and laughed much like Chris and I did. Oh, what a great time we had when your Daddy came out to Utah this past week. Love you all!!!
